Ms. George- Class 8-2
This is my fifth year at Bruce Trail Public School and I am so excited to be teaching grade 8 this year.
The first thing you need to know about me is that I LOVE being a teacher. I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was a little girl. I even had my play room turned into a 'classroom' for many years. For the past few years I have taught primary and this is my second year teaching to grade 8. I am most excited to incorporate social justice, equity and positive mental health into the classroom and school community.
Outside of the classroom- I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. I love running outside in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. My favourite season is summer because I love the hot weather and the beach!
Travelling is one of my passions. I have been all over the Caribbean, Spain, Amsterdam, Australia and many places in the United States. Australia was by far my favourite place and I would love to go back!
I have a 13-year-old nephew and an 11-year-old niece and I spend as much time as possible with them. Our favourite things to do together are cooking, reading, playing football and going shopping!
